Dr. Alvin Pope is a man after God’s own heart. He has a heart for the people of God and is concerned with the spritual growth of every believer in the CNOF family. In addition to his leadership at CNOF, Pastor Pope is an accomplished musician.
He has traveled the world extensively with Dr. Vernard Johnson and other gospel music giants. Pastor Pope remains in demand as a psalmist/minstrel and continues to inspire a new generation of believers and musicians.
Preaching is his pedigree, his father’s three sons are all ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He along with his brothers Gary and Wayne preach to congregations all over the nation. Pastor Pope is the father of one daughter, Mrs. Jimelia Bailey who served as Minister of Music at CNOF until October 2012.
